Welcome to Burpengary Community Kindergarten

Our small kindergarten was established in 1986 by members of the local community. Originally held at Burpengary Community Hall and the local Baptist Church, the kindergarten eventually moved to its own purpose-built site in 1990 where we have remained and prospered over the years.

Nestled amongst trees, just off Henderson Road Burpengary, you will find a beautifully maintained environment for young children and families. Burpengary kindy is recognised as a high quality kindergarten service affiliated with C&K. We offer an exciting, challenging, inclusive play based learning environment which allows our children to learn, develop and grow at their own pace.

We are a not-for-profit organisation and have been affiliated with C&K since 1990. As an affiliate service of C&K we are managed by a Parent Management Committee elected at the beginning of each kindergarten year. The centre is managed according to C&K operational guidelines and educational standards.

At Burpengary Kindy we pride ourselves on our reputation for offering an outstanding kindergarten experience which was reflected in our recent C&K National Quality Framework Assessment Rating (2021) in which we were once more rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards.

Our Pre Kindy and Kindergarten learning programs can offer endless opportunities for your child to develop the social-emotional skills, independence and confidence that will enable a smooth transition into school life as well as benefitting them in later school years and into adulthood.

We greatly encourage you to visit us, meet our teachers and take the next step in your child's learning journey. We very much look forward to meeting you.
